My 7 yo daughter loves her stuffed penguin. Its actually 2 stuffed penguins. The baby is attached, but is easily seperated from the parent. Both are very soft and realistic.

My husband hates stuffed animals, and even he likes it!

Other reviewers have done a great job describing this penguin - because of their comments we bought it, hoping that our son would love it (which he does). It is a very realistic looking penguin combo, and you can detach the baby by clipping some threads. The beak and feet are vinyl, making it look even more real. It is a big hit :)

I'm pleased with this penguin pair and am sure my daughter will be, too. Some details I'd have liked when ordering: the baby is loosely stitched to the adult, so it's possible to detach it in case your kids want to move them around independently (whew); the baby is 4" tall and 3" wide, a little too large to fit in most plastic Easter eggs (which leaves me searching for some kind of alternative egg before Christmas, yikes!). Both are nice and soft with leathery feet, and the adult has a beanbag base so it won't tip over too easily during play.

This is a darling Emperor penguin with a baby. Very soft and cuddly! Love it!
