Nintendogs Interactive Beagle (Tug & Play): Customer Reviews & Product Details

I saw this at a party and thought it would be good for my son. I couldn't find one available at a local store, so I bought from Amazon. I should have tried it out more,because I thought it did more than bark and shake it's head. I also didn't realize the rope is sewn into the mouth of the dog. My son still likes it as it's a very realistic looking dog, but I think it's a little expensive for what you get.

Initially I bought this as a gag gift since my 4 yr old son and my wife was hollaring for a dog, they didn't seem to think it was funny but I sure did!!! Still laughing actually, but it was a nice gift.

The picture showing is missing the rope that is attatched to the mouth of the Beagle. I do wish the rope was detachable, but it isn't. My daughter loves the dog! She got him for Christmas and has played with him everyday. She has begged to take him with us everywhere we go. The dog's tugging action isn't that exciting, but he is much cuter than this picture shows and he was much softer than I expected.

The only issue I had was, per the description, I expected the dog to actually play tug of war, but it doesn't. It's a programmed action which lasts about 30 seconds. When you squeeze it's paw it just shakes it's head, growls, whines, wags it's tail and barks. But they are soft and cuddly, and the kids I bought them for loved them."

My grandkids love and I thought it was so nice that I even bought myself one.
